There will be no seasonal drama surrounding Dibo Samuel and his contract.

The All-Pro recipients and the 49ers have agreed to a three-year, $71.55 million extension

including a $58.1 million guarantee, according to ESPN.

And as confirmed by Josina Anderson of CBS Sports,

the extension will make Samuel one of the highest paid receivers in the league.

That includes Tyrek Hill, Davante Adams, DeAndre Hopkins and Cooper Cooper.

He reportedly requested a trade in April after an incredible 2021 campaign.

.The 49ers expressed hope that they could work out a new deal

with Samuel after the 26-year-old reported to training camp from the 2021 season

where he is making 77 passes on 1,402 yards and leads the NFL with 18.2 yards per catch.
